Welcome to Miss Pregent’s 4th Grade Class ! :)

July 2013

Dear Student,

As I am preparing for this school year, there is one thing I CANNOT contain-my EXCITEMENT!!! I’m really looking forward to being your 4th grade teacher next year. I hope that you like to read because I LOVE to read ! We will have an awesome classroom library with books like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Dear America, Boxcar Children, Frindle, Goosebumps and MANY more! :) We are going to have really neat science experiments, social studies skits, free writes and much, MUCH more! Get ready to hear all about my dogs, Minnie & Molly, who are my “babies”. I’ll definitely be writing about them when we do our writing activities.

In case you were wondering, my last name is pronounced pre as in preschool and gent as in gentleman. So, put those two together and you get Pre-gent! That’s the easiest way I have figured out to explain it to people, so I hope that helps. :) I know that it looks a lot like pregnant so it can be hard to pronounce at first.

I look forward to meeting you!

Sincerely,

Miss Pregent
